How to Search Orange County Florida Criminal Court Records

The Orange County Clerk of Courts provides My eClerk, an official online public case search. It supports criminal case searches using party names, case numbers, citation numbers and other available filters.

Official My eClerk Criminal Records Search

Use this portal for public criminal court case information in Orange County, Florida.

Step-by-step: search an Orange County, FL criminal case

  1. Open My eClerk

Use the official Orange County Clerk of Courts case-search website.

  2. Select the criminal case type

Choose the relevant Criminal case category when available. If unsure of the category, use the broader search and narrow the results afterward.

  3. Enter a name or case number

For a name search, My eClerk requires both the first and last name. Add a middle name or other permitted search details to distinguish people with similar names.

  4. Use the case number when known

The Clerk publishes case-number formats including YYYY-XX-999999-A-O and YYYY-XX-999999-O. Keep the year, case-type code and other components accurately.

  5. Complete the CAPTCHA if requested

The public search normally requires anonymous users to complete human verification before each search.

  6. Review the search results

My eClerk limits search results to the first 500 matches. If the search is too broad, refine the name, date range or case type.

  7. Open the case docket

Review available charges, court events, filings, hearing dates and case disposition information.

  8. Save the case number for official requests

If you need a certified judgment or a document not available online, request it from the Orange County Clerk of Courts.

Florida search tip: If a common name produces hundreds of records, try the exact case number, a narrower filing-date range or additional identifying details. Do not rely solely on matching first and last names.

Find Florida Court Dates
  1. Open the Court Calendar

Use the Clerk’s separate hearing-search tool.

  2. Enter a search criterion

Search by case number, date, party name or other criteria provided. A name search requires both first and last name.

  3. Review the scheduled hearing

Look for the hearing date, time, court location, judge and status.

  4. Check whether the hearing was cancelled

The calendar includes a status field for cancelled hearings.

  5. Confirm before appearing

Hearing dates and court locations can change at short notice. Contact the Clerk, court or your attorney if instructions are unclear.

Do not treat a blank court-calendar result as proof that a case is closed. The Clerk says its hearing calendar is for scheduled hearings, not past hearings or every active case. Check My eClerk’s case docket for historical information.
